Nothing here is a guarantee

BoostFi shows you what commercial credit sources report about your business and what we read from it. Nothing on any screen is a promise of approval, of funding, of an amount, of a rate, or of a score.

A lender decides using its own criteria and its own data. None of them use our reading, and we have no influence over any of them.

Not advice

BoostFi is not financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship. Decisions about borrowing are yours, and a professional who knows your circumstances is worth asking.

Business credit is not consumer credit

Commercial scores are not personal credit scores. They run on different scales, in different directions, and measure different things. A number here has no relationship to a personal FICO score, and we never convert one to the other.

Each source is its own

Experian, Equifax, Dun & Bradstreet and CredLogic each publish on their own scale, with their own definitions, as at their own date. Where they disagree, they disagree — we show what each one said rather than averaging them into a number none of them published.

Where a source has not reported on your business, we say so. We never estimate a figure for a source that has not spoken.

Our own reading

The CredLogic BPS is a readiness indication on CredLogic's 000–990 scale. Where it is produced by BoostFi rather than by CredLogic, the screen says so.

It is not issued by a credit reporting agency, it is not used by any lender, and it is not a prediction. It is a way to watch one number move as your file changes.

Cash-flow analysis

Where you connect a bank account, we calculate figures from the transactions that account reports — inflows, outflows, average balance, consistency, runway. Those calculations are deterministic and we will explain any of them.

They describe what happened in that account. They do not describe your whole business, and they are not an audit.

Not credit repair

BoostFi is not a credit repair organisation. We do not dispute entries on your behalf, we do not promise removal of anything, and we do not charge for promises about what a file will say.

Where the product helps you write a correction, the correction is yours, sent by you, and the source decides what to do with it.

Vendors and offers

Where BoostFi lists a vendor, a lender or a product, that is information rather than a recommendation. Some listings earn us a commission; that never changes what we show you or the order we show it in. Terms belong to the provider and you should read them.

Third-party outages

Parts of BoostFi depend on services we do not run. When one of them is unavailable or wrong, we show you what we have and say what is missing rather than filling the gap with a guess.
